Pulse Runner
A small cube. A long way to go.
How to play with your keyboard
Click Play now, or Tab to the game and press Enter. After using a menu, choose Focus game to send your keys back to the game. Arrow keys work across keyboard layouts.
Press once per jump. Release before the next jump; no double jump.
Start the selected stage or retry after a crash.
Pause the current run. Esc may exit fullscreen first.
Start the stage again from the beginning.
Watch the front edge of the next spike. Start with First Spark, then try the wider obstacles in Double Take. Releasing the jump key between obstacles helps you make deliberate inputs.
A free jumping game built around timing
Pulse Runner is a browser platformer where a single jump can change your entire run. Your cube moves forward automatically while you clear spikes, leap over gaps, and land on raised blocks. There is no download or account to set up: choose a stage and start playing with your keyboard or touchscreen.
Learn three routes at your own pace
First Spark introduces the jump arc and gives you room to read each obstacle. Double Take and Overdrive increase the pace and ask for more deliberate takeoffs. Each course has three optional golden shards, so finishing the level and collecting every bonus are separate challenges.
Use checkpoint practice to work on a difficult section, or slow the game to 85% or 70% while you learn. Return to normal speed for an uninterrupted attempt that counts toward your best progress. For more timing advice, read the Pulse Runner jump guide.

Press Space, Up, W, click, or tap to jump. You move forward automatically. Clear the spikes and reach the finish. Jumping is available when your cube is on the floor.
Watch the front edge of the next spike. Start with First Spark, then try the wider obstacles in Double Take. Releasing the jump key between obstacles helps you make deliberate inputs.
Collect three golden shards for an extra challenge. Practice mode adds automatic checkpoints to help you learn a level. Normal mode starts from the beginning and tracks your best completion percentage. Scores last for your current page session unless you enable saving in storage settings.
Before your next run
Who created these games?
These are independently developed browser games with custom stages, procedural visuals, and synthesized music. They are not official versions of another game.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The games run in a modern browser with JavaScript enabled. There are no plugins, accounts, or installers.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. Tap the play area or use its touch control. For Vector Flight, keep your finger down to climb and release to descend.
How does practice work?
Practice places checkpoints automatically as you progress. A crash restarts at the last checkpoint. Practice results do not replace your normal-mode best.
